Voice Back device and software compatibility
Voice Back runs on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets, and it is compatible with TD Pilot and other iPad-based eye-gaze setups. It is not available on Windows AAC devices. You can download both your original recording and your cloned voice, so your voice is never locked inside one device.
Does Voice Back work with TD Pilot and other eye gaze devices?
Voice Back is compatible with TD Pilot and other iPad-based eye gaze devices from Tobii Dynavox, but Voice Back is not available on Windows AAC devices. Because TD Pilot runs iPadOS, Voice Back installs from the App Store and can be driven with eye control like any other iPad app. Large, customizable buttons and tabs make targets easier to hit with gaze or switch access.
Does Voice Back work on iPhone and iPad?
Voice Back is available as a free download on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. Voice Back supports Dynamic Type sizing, dark mode, and the accessibility features built into iOS, including VoiceOver navigation and Switch Control.
Does Voice Back work on Android phones and tablets?
Voice Back is available as a free download on Google Play for Android phones and tablets. The AAC app's speech board reflows for larger tablet screens, giving bigger tap targets for people with reduced fine motor control.
Can Voice Back be used on a mounted tablet?
A mounted tablet running Voice Back — including devices attached to a wheelchair or bed rail — expands the board to show more buttons per tab without shrinking them. Tabs let you group phrases by setting, such as Home, Clinic, and Family.
Can you export your voice from Voice Back?
Voice Back lets you download your original voice recording and audio generated with your cloned voice directly from the app. That gives families a permanent copy independent of any subscription, and makes it easy to share a message by text or email.
What languages does Voice Back support?
