Hey, I'm Riya — founder of Voice Back.

Why did Riya create Voice Back?

Whatever you or your loved one is going through, I'm truly sorry and I'm here for you.

I watched my grandmother lose her voice to ALS in 2024. She wouldn't use voice apps because of the robotic tone. All she wanted was to communicate with her unique voice. I looked everywhere for an AAC app that offered real voice banking instead of a robotic speech generating device, and couldn't find anything to help her. That's when I developed Voice Back.

What is Voice Back's mission?

Voice Back's mission is to help people facing speech loss preserve connection, identity, and comfort through the voices we love most.

Everyone deserves to be heard with their own unique voice.
