The Voice Back boilerplate is an approved paragraph journalists can quote directly when describing the app, an AAC app used for voice banking and message banking by people with ALS, MND, and other conditions affecting speech.

Voice Back is a mobile app that helps people facing speech loss communicate in their own voice. Using AI voice cloning, Voice Back recreates a person's voice from about ten seconds of audio — or from an old voicemail or home video — and pairs it with a customizable speech board. Founded in 2025 after founder Riya Jain's grandmother lost her voice to ALS, Voice Back is available on iOS and Android in English and Spanish, and is guided by an advisory team of people living with ALS.
