It is built for people living with ALS, MND, head and neck cancer, laryngectomy, stroke, and other conditions that affect speech.

How much does Voice Back cost?

How is Voice Back different from traditional voice banking?

How is Voice Back different from ElevenLabs voice cloning?

Voice Back is a complete communication tool, not just a voice generator. It pairs voice cloning with an accessible AAC speech board, customizable buttons, phonetic pronunciation control, tabs, dark mode, and adjustable speaking speed — all designed with people living with speech loss.

Can I use Voice Back if I have already lost my voice?

Yes, you can still create a voice even if you can no longer speak. Upload an old recording, voicemail, or video clip of your voice, or choose from a library of natural-sounding voices if no recording exists.

Can I use old recordings, voicemails, or home videos to clone a voice?

Yes, Voice Back can clone a voice from an existing recording such as a voicemail, home video, or audio message. Roughly ten seconds of reasonably clear speech with little background noise is enough.

Does Voice Back work with TD Pilot or other eye gaze devices?

Yes, Voice Back is compatible with TD Pilot and other iPad-based eye gaze setups. It is not available on Windows AAC devices. Because TD Pilot runs iPadOS, Voice Back installs from the App Store and works with the eye control and switch access you already use.

Is Voice Back an AAC app?

Yes, Voice Back is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) app. It provides a tap-to-speak board with editable buttons and tabs, and it speaks in your own cloned voice rather than a generic synthetic one.

What languages does Voice Back support?

Does Voice Back work for MND, laryngectomy, stroke, or Parkinson's?

Yes, Voice Back is designed for anyone facing speech loss, including people with MND, laryngectomy, stroke, Parkinson's disease, and head and neck cancer. The app does not require a specific diagnosis to use.

How long does voice cloning take?

Do I need a speech language pathologist to use Voice Back?

No, you do not need a speech language pathologist to use Voice Back. The app is designed to be set up independently by a person or their family, though SLPs often use it with clients as part of a care plan.

Can I export my cloned voice to another device?

Yes, you can download both your original recording and your cloned voice from within the app. Your voice belongs to you, and you can keep a copy for safekeeping or use elsewhere.

What happens to my voice data if I stop using the app?

You can delete your voice and your account at any time, and your voice data is removed from our systems when you do. We never sell your data or use your voice for anything other than powering your own communication.

Is my audio data safe?

Yes, your audio is encrypted in transit and at rest and is never sold or shared. You stay in control and can delete your voice whenever you choose.

How accurate is the voice cloning?

Voice Back captures your tone, cadence, and accent from as little as ten seconds of clean audio. Clearer recordings with less background noise produce a closer match, and you can re-record anytime to improve it.

Can I control how names and words are pronounced?

Yes, Voice Back lets you teach the app how to say names, places, and family nicknames exactly the way you do. You enter a phonetic spelling once and the app uses it every time.
